Projects: Three Acrylic on Canvas paintings for the California band "Afterward"
2006.apr.13 - Three canvas paintings for the band "Afterward" EP CD completed.
This project was a set of three acrylic paintings commissioned by the Los Angeles band "Afterward".Throughout the initial process of finding ideas and concepts, which were based specifically on the three songs for their CD, many hours of telephone and chat discussions lead to these final paintings full of symbolic content about their three songs.

The three images were used inside the CD jacket while a fourth image was created using a 1/3 vertical slice from each of the 3 painting photos. The 3 paintings were designed from the start to allow cpecific sections to align as one new image for the cover. It was most most complicated project to date! |
